Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, actress as well as a board member of SSC since 2011. She is the founder and co-artistic director of the newly created theatre firm Speech of Fire. She served as Artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until the end of 2019. When she was the Artistic Director of SSC she also was the company's producer costume/set designer the composer/music director and as the text coach. In her last year, she was a director as well as a lighting designer in the production of SSC's King Lear. She had been in charge of the production from a group and in this year's production made her directorial debut. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. She's appeared on several other series apart from acting. Her two sisters and daughter were raised under the guidance of her scientific father Richard F. Post, and poet Marylee Post in Walnut Creek. She went to Las Lomas High School where she played cheerleading. Post briefly attended Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. Post was previously married to Stephen Knox. In 1982, she was married to actor cum writer Michael A. Ross with whom has twin daughters. Post is a great actor, and also a wonderful wife and mother she is an inspiration to numerous Hollywood actors.
